“Concentus Moraviae may blow out 30 candles in 2025 and that calls for a classy musical celebration! Rondo Festivo, the motto of the festival, is obviously a nod to the name of the artist in residence, brilliant harpsichordist, pianist, organist and composer Jean Rondeau, but at the same time refers to the festive character of this edition: we are celebrating not only thirty years of the festival, but also twenty years since the memorable Flemish storm flew through Moravia and left indelible musical traces. The dramaturgy thereby combines the concerts of Jean Rondeau and his French colleagues with the most innovative ensembles and musicians from Flanders and the Czech Republic. The French touch forms the refrain of the festival, the Flemish and Czech the couplets. Thus, the festival itself is structured in a rondo form. A festive musical rondo in the most beautiful places in Moravia.”
