Videospot 2026
The festival enters its fourth decade with a brand new, enticing TV spot. It is accompanied by a short bit from the first movement of Dvořak’s String Quartet in F major, “American”, played by the ensemble in residence, The Pavel Haas Quartet. The captivating, interlinked golden rings seen in the spot are creations of our brilliant graphic designers, Tobiáš Grolich and Radim Kučera. To grasp their thought process behind it, we asked them, how did it come to life? Here are their words:
The life of a quartet is highly specific. It is not only about concentration, it is a way of life. With that, everything has been said. We don’t see the quartet as four individual musicians but as a single, unified organism that breathes and creates unanimously. Although its four members are clearly present – every member has its own individual style, tone, color, and approach – the final product acts secure and uniform. It brings to life a unique environment in which differences are not a hindrance, but they enhance the experience. That is the magic of a quartet’s life.
