Festival in 2025

We wish all festival supporters and partners a happy 2025!
If you look closely at the New Year’s card (and indeed the entire new website graphic), you will see the number 30 sculpted from a precious stone. The festival will blow out 30 candles in June, and that calls for a really stylish celebration. Our dramaturge this year, Jelle Dierickx, has adorned it with the beautiful title RONDO FESTIVO, which not only refers to the name of the artist in residence, harpsichordist, organist, pianist and composer Jean Rondeau, but also underlines the festive nature of the whole event. We will celebrate thirty years of the festival and twenty years since the memorable Flemish storm swept through Moravia, leaving indelible musical traces. The dramaturgy thus combines concerts by Jean Rondeau and his French colleagues with innovative ensembles and musicians from Flanders and the Czech Republic. The festival, which takes place in the most beautiful places in Moravia, is structured for 2025 in the form of a festive rondo: the refrain has a French touch, the individual verses are Flemish and Czech.
